Welcoming Brad Towson – Our New Pool & Recreation Coordinator
A Passion for Sport, Recreation, and Community at the Heart of K-Life
K-Life is delighted to welcome Brad Towson as our new Pool & Recreation Coordinator. Brad brings with him a wealth of experience in sport, recreation, and community engagement, underpinned by a remarkable career that has taken him across the globe.
Brad began his professional journey in the television industry, where he directed and produced coverage of some of the world’s biggest sporting events — from Wimbledon and The Masters in Augusta to the World Cup Cricket and international hockey, football, and cycling competitions. His leadership extended beyond broadcasting, as he trained and mentored new directors for ESPN and STAR Sports throughout Asia.
In 2015, Brad transitioned into the recreation and aquatics sector, joining the YMCA at the Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre, where he worked as Aquatics Operations Coordinator. During this time, he developed expertise in pool safety and community programs, gaining qualifications as a Bronze Swim Coach, Learn to Swim Teacher, Pool Lifeguard, and Commercial Pool Plant Operator.
Now back in the Southern Downs, Brad is excited to bring his skills and passion for sport and recreation to K-Life. His focus will be on making the Killarney Pool and recreation programs a vibrant hub for people of all ages — whether through swimming lessons, fitness programs, or community events.
Please join us in giving Brad a warm K-Life welcome. We’re confident his experience and enthusiasm will make a splash in our community!
