Dr Catherine Macdonald (Dr Cat) is a Rural Generalist trained General Practitioner.  She grew up on a dairy farm in a small rural community and has always wanted to live and work rurally to support a community. Dr Cat has worked and lived in the Warwick community for the last decade and came on as our primary General Practitioner at Klife in 2024.  

Dr Cat is passionate about holistic, non judgemental and comprehensive care for every patient.  She has a subspecialty in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is particularly passionate about Women's health, offering extra services in contraception and pregnancy options. 

Dr Cat also has an interest Medical Education and training the next generation of rural doctors as seen by her support of our onsite registrars and medical students. 

Dr. Randhawa is a dedicated and compassionate registrar with experience in both metropolitan and regional healthcare settings. His broad understanding of diverse health care needs, combined with a passion for continuous learning, enables him to deliver exceptional care tailored to each patient.

Committed to the well-being of the Killarney community, Dr. Randhawa values building strong relationships with residents and supporting them in achieving better health outcomes. He looks forward to contributing to the health and vitality of the community through his patient-centred approach and ongoing commitment to excellence.

Dr. Lahie is a registrar and rural generalist in training, with a diverse background in medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Bristol in 2011 and has since gained extensive experience as a hospital doctor across multiple specialties, including emergency medicine, geriatrics, anaesthesia, and intensive care.

Dr Lahie has settled in Killarney with his wife, seeking a stronger sense of community after living in Sydney. Originally from Sri Lanka, he moved to England at the age of 18 before heading to Australia.

Outside of work, Dr. Lahie has a passion for travel and wildlife. “I have pet cats and hope to add dogs, chickens, and any other animals I can get my hands on,” he says. An avid motorcyclist and hiker, you might spot him on a trail or racing at Morgan Park Raceway.

Dr John Kiss is a highly respected GP serving the Warwick community. With a strong background in rural medicine, he understands the unique challenges and strengths of regional healthcare.

At K-Life, he divides his time between dedicated skin health clinics two days a week and providing compassionate care for our beloved residents on the other days.

Known for his thorough and caring approach, Dr Kiss is committed to improving wellbeing and quality of life for people across the community. His presence at K-Life strengthens our mission to deliver trusted, community-focused healthcare in our region.

Dr Charlene Pa is a GP registrar with a diverse clinical background and a strong commitment to holistic, community-centred care. Originally from Malaysia, she completed her medical degree at Monash University before undertaking further training in Mackay and Brisbane, where she developed a keen interest in geriatric medicine, palliative care, and preventive health.

Outside of medicine, Dr Pa enjoys photography, travelling, and hiking, and values the opportunity to experience the natural beauty and relaxed pace of life in regional Queensland. These interests, along with her passion for preventive health, reflect her belief in the importance of balance and wellbeing — both in and out of the clinic.

Dr Michelle Davis started as our first telehealth general practitioner in 2023 as a result of a university program to match urban GPs with rural communities experiencing a doctor shortage.  Dr Davis has worked on the Gold Coast for more than 20 years in diverse roles in typical general practice clinics as well as supporting alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs, with headspace on-site and in a school clinic, and supporting inpatient care in a private psychiatric hospital.  In her Gold Coast practice, Dr Davis only sees female patients and has a passion for supporting patients in their challenges with mental health, women’s health and complex chronic medical problems. 

Dr Davis feels the privilege of working with the Killarney community is a little like returning to her roots.  She grew up across multiple regional areas in Queensland in Mackay, Roma and Charleville, then undertook rural general practice training in Kingaroy and the Hunter Valley, working in general practice in Moura and the Hunter Valley. 

Dr Davis has a special interest in communication and connection with patients to best provide effective care and support for issues faced with chronic medical conditions and mental health concerns, bringing compassion and expertise to her patients in these areas.

Outside of work hours Dr Davis enjoys time with her family and friends, tries not to kill all of her plants, and loves whale-watching, travelling and the serenity of bird-watching on her verandah
